Dancing Shadows

October 23, 2019 by rustypants Leave a Comment

This morning I tried to post these three photos of Cat to Instagram. All three completely censored and meeting their ridiculous (and arbitrarily enforced) ‘community standards.’ And within seconds of posting them, they disappeared. I did click to Let Them Know that I thought they were wrong in their bot’s judgement of the photos, and I did Request A Review. Normally these reviews are done within minutes, and with this account, every single one of my reviews except for one has resulted in the photo being reposted along with a trite note Thanking Me For Helping Them and an Apology For The Misunderstanding.

Not today. Nine hours after posting, being deleted, and requesting a review, I’ve received nothing in return from them. The pics are still gone, presumably forever.

These three photos of Cat were taken out at National Seashore early in October 2019. I was particularly moved by the shadows and the weird 3-D / dancing quality of them on the third photo.

Which one is YOUR favorite? Leave me a comment and LMK!
