Cat and I came up with the rainbow sprinkles idea while brainstorming texture ideas for shoots; something different from heavy whipping cream shoot or the honey shoots I’d done over the summer, and not something repetitive that we’d seen others do too much of (like coffee grounds). The sprinkles seemed like a no-brainer and would certainly be colorful and stand out on her dark skin.
We didn’t get many shots that morning – our method of making the sprinkles stick didn’t work out too well, and we cut our losses, enjoying the pics we’d gotten, but vowing to try it again in the near future. Stay tuned for the New Improved Rainbow Sprinkles shoot!
