Roarie Yum came to Pensacola in May 2019 and I was fortunate to be able to spend a day creating amazing art with her.
These shots came from our second set, taken down on Pensacola Bay maybe an hour after sunrise. Conditions were perfect – the sky was deep blue with an army of wispy clouds overhead, the water was completely calm (and in low-tide), the air temperature was just right, and bugs seemed to have taken the morning off. Roarie and I talked briefly about what we were seeing photographically, and got to work.

What a great location.
It’s a nice little spot, and the weather was truly perfect that morning. Couldn’t have asked for anything better than it was. And Roarie Yum? She was amazing to work with!
