I’ve done probably a dozen bodypaint shoots over the last 4 years, sometimes using my own painting, sometimes working with my wife (who is a classically trained artist herself), and other times asking Samantha to do the honors.
Almost all of the paint used in these shoots is a basic tempera paint using white as the base and primary colors (with a couple offshoots) for the design. A few of them utilized electrical tape before the application of paint just for some fun designs, and almost all of them devolved at the end to mixing all the paint up (giving a purplish hue most of the time).
These sessions are always fun, always time-consuming, always messy, and always amazing results. True confession: My wife and Sam are much better artists than I am.
