Back in March my friend Abi came down to Pensacola for a spring break visit to relax and shoot. Abi is great for thinking outside the box when it comes to many things, not the least of which is things to wear during shoots. She demanded that we hit the local Party City and shop for weird shit, and ended up grabbing a pair each of neon orange and neon pink tights. We also used a makeshift toga for a morning session. And of course, ‘who needs clothes’ is another frequent refrain here in the studio. Now I’m sure you’re wishing you could see these in all their loud color glory, but that’s not exactly what this post is about.
I had a stack of expired Kodak Tri-X 400 120 film that I’d been wanting to mess with for a while, so I loaded up the Mamiya C330 and we went to town.
The C330 produces 12 perfectly square 6×6 photos – here are six of the twelve. They’re scratchy and dusty – sorry, I just haven’t felt like going over them and cleaning everything up just yet. If that disappoints you, the BACK button is in the upper left-hand corner of your screen!
