On the night that Brooke and I first met and shot together (January 2018), I was shooting four film cameras: A Mamiya 645, a Canon F1, a Polaroid 195, and a Leica M3. The Leica wasn’t mine – it had been loaned to me that day so I could shoot it and presumably fall head over heels for it, drink the Leica kool-ade (waaaay too many people believe that Nothing Can Beat A Leica, and that’s… well, that’s bullshit, and a topic for another post) and part with all of my money in pursuit of owning one.
At any rate, Brooke and I had never met before and she had never done any kind of nude modeling before, so we sat and chatted a good while as I loaded film into these cameras and we got going.
The pics included here are from three of those four cameras – I didn’t include the Polaroid here because I’ve posted some of those shots before. All B&W, and probably all Ilford Delta 400, except for the medium format – I think I was mostly shooting Ultrafine Xtreme 400 at this time.
Half of these shots are unedited. Sorry for the dust and noise.
